Cedilla Notes

Tell us we are wrong

There is no form here, because no mailing list exists behind one and a form that goes nowhere is worse than an address. Write to the address below.

Where to write

Corrections and questions go to the address in the footer of every page. It reaches a person rather than a queue, and a reply is likely but not promised — this is a small notebook, not a support desk.

You will notice there is no contact form. That is deliberate. A form needs something behind it to receive what you type, and rather than put up an input box that quietly discards your message, there is an address you can use from your own mail program, where you keep a copy of what you sent.

What is most useful to send

A good correction is short and specific, and these four things make one easy to act on.

Which page, by its address. Several pages here discuss the same products from different angles, and the same price appears on more than one of them — knowing which you are looking at means all of them get fixed rather than one.

The sentence as it currently reads. Quoting it removes any ambiguity about what you mean, and it lets us search for the same claim elsewhere on the site.

What the source says now. A link is ideal. Prices in this subject move constantly, sale banners appear and vanish, and vendors redesign their pricing pages without notice, so "this is out of date" is far more actionable with the current figure attached.

Where you were when you looked, if it is about a price. Two of the companies discussed here served this site prices in a currency it did not ask for, and one published none at all to a plain request. Your country genuinely changes what a vendor shows you, and a correction that includes it is worth several that do not.

What we cannot do

We cannot teach you French, correct your written French, or answer "am I doing this right" — there is no tutor here, and the pages themselves say repeatedly that correction is the one thing worth buying from a real person.

We cannot tell you what your library offers, what a vendor will charge you in your own country, or whether a promotion will still be running next week. Those change by place and by day, which is exactly why the pages tell you to check your own checkout rather than trusting a figure in a review.

We cannot give advice about exams. France Éducation international administers the DELF and DALF, its own pages could not be read from here on 24 September 2026, and rather than guess, this site states nothing at all about their fees, formats or rules. The issuing body's own site is the place to ask.

About products and partnerships

If you make a French product and something written here about it is factually wrong, send the correction the same way anyone else would and it will be treated the same way. Accuracy is not negotiable and it is also not for sale.

What is not available is paid placement, a guaranteed favourable mention, a review written to a brief, or a link marked as editorial that is actually commercial. The page about who pays for this site sets out the arrangements that do exist, which links are commercial, and which of the recommendations here cannot earn anything under any circumstances.

Taking something down

If you believe something here infringes your rights, write to the same address with the page, the specific material, and what your claim is. All the illustration on this site was drawn for it, and all the prose written for it, so most such questions are resolved quickly by pointing at the original — but they are taken seriously and answered.
